In the coming days, you’ll receive an email from us with instructions on how to download the exclusive pre-release version of Age of Empires Online. While the rest of the world has to wait until August 16 to play, you’ll have access early!
What exactly is the pre-release for Age of Empires Online? You’ll be able to play the nearly final version of Age of Empires Online. What do we mean by nearly final? There will be a patch on August 16, which will take care of a few minor hiccups that you may encounter.
You’ll be able to purchase Civilizations, Booster Packs, and Empire Extras. And you will KEEP your purchases and city progress on August 16--your city will not be wiped as was done after the beta.
